According to a recent study
(2012), researchers at Bristol and Lincoln Universities, UK, found that
insects in the tropical forests of South Africa have ears that resemble
those of humans and can hear sounds in almost the same mechanism as
humans. Their ears have eardrums that fluctuate when the sound waves
reach them and they also have three sensitive bones that transmit
vibrations to the inner ear. Besides, they have helix that’s full of a
sensitive liquid that corresponds to various kinds of sound waves.
Scientists say that they had no idea what so ever about such mechanism
that resemble that of the bones of inner ears which insects have and
which weren’t discovered before. Miraculously, the holy Qur'an points
out that such insects resemble humans; Allah, the almighty says in the
holy Qur'an:
“There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms
part of) communities like you.
Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered
to their Lord in the end.”An’am or Cattle: 6: 38
